Caught You
So thoughtful...
Caden was so thoughtful:
A few days ago, I got off the phone and had a sad expression on my face. Caden asks, "what's wrong mommy? I told him I was sad because daddy and mommy don't have enough money to go visit grandma and grandpa Jones. Caden replied, "we can use all my money in my dinosaur bank to go to grandma and grandpa's house. Caden is so thoughtful. I love him so much.
How sweet was that, I'm sure the $.76 will help a ton:)

Expecting #3
Yes, baby #3 is on the way.
I am due on Sept. 13, 2008.
I came across this picture of me when I was about to pop with Caden. It was taken Fall of 2004. I cannot believe how "small" I look :)

Tag: Facts about me and my hubby
How long have you been together?
We have been married for 4 1/2 years.
How long did you date?
We dated for 3 months and were engaged for 6 months. Our engagement was so long twice as long as our courtship. Oh well, we survived. Ha Ha!
How old is he: 26 years old
How old are you: 25 years old
Who eats more:
By far Nick, but lately he has been cutting down on his portion size. Nicks family and my family know that when I am pregnant or nursing I can down some serious food.
Who said I love you first?
Nick said it first, and of course I said it too. He said it while we were just about to say goodbye to each other for the night. I was visiting him at his apartment in Rexburg, Idaho. We were both attending BYU-Idaho
Who sings better?
That is a tough one because we both can't sing. As I am doing this tag, me and Nick had a sing off of "When you say nothing at all" Nick got the tune right and I could not get the tune, but clearly I sound better than he does, when I get the tune right.
Who is smarter?
We are both smart in our own ways. Nick is not into studying, but he still does well in his PT program. On the other hand, I will study, so I know my stuff that way.
Who does the laundry?
I do. I prefer it that way. Nick has ruined a couple of my shirts when he does the laundry. He cooks and does the dishes real well.
Who does the dishes?
We both usually tag team the kitchen unless when one of us is on kid duty.
Who sleeps on the right side of the bed?
I do.
Who pays the bills?
We both share that responsibility.
Who mows the lawn?
That would be Nick. No mowing now due to the tons of snow we have covering our lawn.
Who cooks dinner?
On weekdays I cook. On Saturdays and Sundays, Nick does or we both do it together.
Who is more stubborn?
We both are. It's a tie.
Who kissed who first?
Nick kissed me first. It happened on one of our many trips to Provo for his volleyball games. He kissed me at his Grandma and Grandpa's house. I was glad he did.
Who asked who out?
Nick asked me out first. It was a group date, we went to the Arizona Temple lights and then played games at one of the dates home.
Who proposed?
If you ask Nick, he would say me. It is a long story while we were dating, we had these long fun-filled, life-sharing conversations and in one particular one he busted out his missionary manipulations to get me to ask him the "M" word (marriage) We both knew that we wanted to get married to each other. He just wanted me to be first one to say or ask it. So after him convincing me to say what I wanted (or both wanted to say) to say. I asked him: "Do you want to get married"
Nick did the actual formal proposal in Las Vegas. His volleyball team had a tournament and all the girlfriends of the players went. It was a fun group. Well we had been looking for rings together, but I thought we weren't done, so I was NOT expecting any proposal. Little did I know my sister helped Nick pick and finalize my ring style and everything. Our last night in Vegas we did the infamous walk down the strip and we ended up at the Venetian Hotel on a Gondola ride. How romantic? Nick and I step onto the gondola, I still have no idea of what's ahead. We have our singer, rower guy named, "Gepeto" He is singing wonderful Italian, and I am just so impressed by this whole experience. Next thing I know Nick is bending down one one knee. I am just like what is going on. He proposes, I say yes, and we kiss. Everyone going over the outside bridge (tourists, etc.) start clapping and cheering. It was an amazing unforgettable experience.
Who is more sensitive?
There is no question, that would be me.
Who has more friends?
Nick does, he is so good at keeping in touch with them, much better than I am.
Who has more siblings?
Nick, he has 4 (2 brothers and 2 sisters). I have one sister
Who wears the pants in the relationship?
It is a shared pant wearing relationship. Nick thinks he does and I think I do. We have balance and I love it.
Bam Bam Baseball
Caden loves to play baseball. Over the break in AZ he had plenty of opportunities to do so... even in his underwear! The kid loves to cruise around in his briefs! No matter how comfy his clothes are, no matter how cool they are, they can never trump his skivvies.
