Oh how we love our Jackson

We finally went to the zoo and got a season pass. The Hogle Zoo is so close to our house. It will be really convenient to often. Here is Jacks with his backwards hat going down the slide.
This was the first time I put overalls on Jackson (well since he was an infant) and he loved them. The whole morning he was putting pokemon cards in the front pocket, figurines, and well now strawberries from lunch. I love how he is trying so hard to smile and say cheese.
Jackson found a new spot for his nap. The changing pad on the floor, how comfy!
This is Superman with his new easter cowboy gun. Funny story about how he got his easter cowboy gun. I was in Kid to Kid ( a children's consignment store) looking for random clothes, etc. I was brave enough to bring all three boys with me. Well inside the store there is a little children's play area with toys, tv, play house, etc. I dropped Caden and Jackson in there and went looking around the store. Throughout my time there Jackson would get out and run about pulling toys, clothes off the shelfs. I would repeatedly bring him back to the play area. You would think I would have had enough and leave, but no I was not done yet so I stayed longer. Putting Jackson again and again back into the enclosed area. Well after about 10 minutes I realized the store was really quiet and I hadn't seen Jackson in a while. I venture over to the play area and he is hiding behind the play house playing with a brand new steel cowboy gun (they have new toys there too). I then scan my eyes over the play area and sure enough there is the box all torn to pieces, scattered all over, the play area was covered in paper. I am so embarrassed at this point, so I hurry and pick up as much paper pieces I can get and grab Jackson and the gun. I went up to the front and asked the manager if I need to pay for the gun and she looked at me, at the paper pieces in my hand, the gun in Jackson's hand and she said "sorry ma'am you need to pay for the gun". I said "okay, I understand". I was thinking maybe the gun would cost $5. No way $16.99 for a play gun. I was shocked, my mouth fell open. She kindly said I will give you 20% off. So I paid almost $12 for the gun. I was going to buy a new bib for Jacob, but I quickly put it back just wanting to get out of that store fast. I placed Jackson in the car and proceeded to take away his newly beloved gun. He was crying, yelling and hitting. I told him that we do not open any toy without asking mommy first. I was going to keep the gun and give it to Jacks on his birthday in November. But we ended up giving it to him for easter a few weeks later because I could not find a super man figurine for the life of me and we had nothing for him for easter. He was so happy, I think he forgot all about the Kid to Kid experience because he was so surprised and happy.

Sorry for the long story, but I have told my self time and time again to never go into a kid's store (especially Kid to Kid) with all my children because it could become really expensive. I now go alone, so nice why didn't i do that in the first place:)
Here is our superhero blowing bubbles. He is getting so good at doing it all by himself.

Love the gun story...I eventually learned that it was way cheaper to leave the kids(and husband) with a babysitter when ever I was going to the store.

Doesn't Jackson know that all he has to do if he wants something is call Nana? He is seriously irresistible with those strawberries in his overalls.
