My son, "The Bully"
Today started out as a normal day. I woke up, fed the kiddos breakfast, got them dressed, and took them with me to the gym. I dropped them off at the Kids Club, and I was off to do my hour or so workout. Half way into my workout, I heard my name called over the intercom to come into Kids Club. I figured Jackson needed a diaper change, so I grabbed all the necessary items and headed my way over there. I walked in and said, "so Jackson needs a diaper change?" The lady commented back, "well no, he has hurt 5 kids today and he keeps picking on the same girl, he pulls her hair and pushes her down." I was kind of surprised and kind of not. I have been told he has been a bully before in Kids Club, but they never called me in to get him before. I know he is aggressive to other children. He likes to push them down and pull on their shirts. So I am constantly on the look out when Jackson is around other kids. I was so sad. I didn't know what to say. I told the ladies I was so sorry, and I will do my best to try to fix it. I gathered up Caden and Jackson and left. What do I do? I do not know how to fix my little bully. I put him in Time Out at home. I don't know if that works, I guess it doesn't because he is still being mean.

That is a tough one. These little guys and their personalities!! What's really tough, is not being there when it happens, and also when they are SOOOO little. Jackson doesn't totally get the concept of 'play nice' or 'share', heck 'time out' is a tough one at his age. I would keep up the time-outs cause over the long run, they really DO work, but honestly it's effectiveness will be soley based on your consistency. That's my take. GOOD LUCK!! :)
We saw some pictures of little Jackson and Caden yesterday doing an Easter Egg hunt at Ed and Leslie's! They were on the disk with all their Europe pics! Do you know what you're having yet? Are you coming back here anytime?
that makes me laugh for some reason!! kylee is going through a bully stage too, i hope she grows out of it soon!
